Welcome to Opoku Taylor Portraits, I am a portrait artist specialising mainly in oil and pencil portraits. I focus mainly on creating your painting or drawing from a favorite photo but can do sittings as well. I offer you pencil portraits using the highest quality graphite or, oil portraits again using the highest quality professional artists oils. I use professionally stretched canvases for your paintings. My specialty is the Home Jazz series. Paintings depicting a typical scene at home where you’re doing the everyday things but it’s all with a twist…. It’s funny…. It’s entertaining and it’s unique. Please look at the gallery to select a style that you like.
Portrait Artist Michele Opoku-Taylor
It would be my pleasure to create a portrait for you based on a photo or from a sitting. With each commission, I pay the utmost attention to detail. Detail and resemblance are my specialties and goals. I won’t rest until you are 100% satisfied with your new quality portrait. I’ll also discuss with you by phone or email exactly how you would like your portrait to appear. Whether it’s your child, your wife, your husband or a friend, I work hard to make sure that you are delighted with your finished artwork. You will have an opportunity to check and approve a photo of the portrait before it is completed and once you are happy, I’ll send the portrait to you. Read some customer feedback ››

Home Jazz Series
Imagine… a typical scene of yourself, a family member or your whole family at home doing the everyday things that you do … it might be in the kitchen cooking, or in the living room listening to music or even in the bathroom…but it’s all with a twist…. it’s funny… it’s entertaining. … and the beauty of it is that the whole image is encapsulated in a unique painting. I’ll discuss with you
1. Who will be in the portrait
2. Which room in the house you’d like the setting
3. The pose ie what you would like to be doing.
It’s a celebration of the everyday, the normal, and the aim is to create positive vibes. Please browse the Home Jazz gallery for ideas and how to order. CLICK HERE
